Confidential Client – Gas Processing Facility Expansion – North Louisiana
Matrix PDM Engineering partnered with ISTI Plant Services to provide electrical engineering, balance of plant and procurement for a major gas processing facility expansion.
The balance of plant engineering and procurement activities included the integration of a pipeline pig receiving area with a condensate stabilizer. Triethylene glycol dehydrator was installed to dehydrate the inlet gas. Other integrations included a 70MMSCFD modular cryogenic plant from Thomas Russell Co., a glycol reconcentrator with BTEX unit and a residue gas line to the plant fence and other ancillary equipment.
Matrix PDM provided a new plant control system, which consisted of Rockwell Automation ControlLogix processors and centralized I/O. Software engineering was provided with PLC code being generated to control the plant processes.
The new fully commissioned natural gas processing train allows the client to handle an increase in upstream supply while meeting gas processing requirements.
