Storage Facility Capabilities
Every critical infrastructure project should start with a strong design and excellent pre-project planning / Front End Engineering and Design (FEED). At Matrix PDM, we have four groups of expert engineers that have come
together to bring a wealth of industry knowledge to any project. Our founding group, MSE Engineering Services, has combined forces with PDM Engineering Services and EDC Engineering Services and Houston Interests.
Together, our team has the experience and expertise to tackle any project across a wide range of engineering services. Tanks and terminals have been a particular focus of our work throughout the years. We have extensive
experience designing and building above ground storage tanks, low-temperature and cryogenic tanks.
From the outside, some storage facilities may not appear to be particularly complex. However, once you begin to consider all of the design and material specifications required to build an above ground storage tank or cryogenic storage facility, you may see things differently. We take your requirements for design load, stored product, operational plans, emissions profile and budget to create the best possible solution.
Our engineering team specializes in a wide range of tank and specialty design including:
-API 650
-API 620
-ASME Section VIII Division 1 and 2 vessels and spheres
-API 620 tanks
Additionally, we’ve designed single and full containment LNG storage facilities, LPG storage facilities, ammonia storage facilities, LIN / LOX storage tanks and spheres. We are particularly experienced building LNG, low temperature and cryogenic storage facilities and their process systems. Our portfolio includes projects for the storage of refrigerated gases, including LNG, ethane, ethylene, propane, butane, propylene, butadiene, ammonia, chlorine, oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen and helium.
At Matrix PDM, we are an industry leader in above ground storage tanks, low-temperature and cryogenic tanks. Our body of work proves we have what it takes to meet your engineering, procurement, fabrication, maintenance, retrofit, relocation and repair needs.
